Our Mission

The Housing Assembly is a nonprofit organization and a grassroots movement committed to advocating for safe, dignified, and affordable housing for all. We work alongside communities to raise awareness, share knowledge, and mobilize around housing challenges, fostering collective action to improve living conditions and uphold human dignity.

Our Vision

We envision a South Africa where everyone has access to secure and adequate housing, with communities empowered to advocate for their rights and shape their own futures. Through collaboration and solidarity, we strive to build a society where housing is not a privilege but a basic right for all.
